The Earth Collection has made a sponsorship agreement with BØRNEfonden. BØRNEfonden is a Danish sponsor institution that is politically and religiously independent. The organisation is managed by an unpaid committee that lays down the guidelines for the work and economy, and their mission is to help children in poor countries to become healthy, well educated and independent adults.
BØRNEfonden's developing projects are being carried out in co-operation with the families, that are being involved in the management and activities, in order to make sure that they are ready to take over these and continue the developments.
Having great trust and confidence in the work carried out by BØRNEfonden around the world, The Earth Collection signed a contract sponsoring BØRNEfonden's developing projects in Togo, concentrated around the region developments in the area of Notse where BØRNEfonden has identified a striking need for improvements. More specifically, BØRNEfonden's contribution areas consist of education and health, among these construction and renovation of schools, nurseries, health clinics, sick-benefit association and wells, as well as acquisition of inventory and various aids.
